Harold F. Krauss, Jr. was born on 24 January 1924 in Lincolnton, North Carolina. He entered the service on 6 November 1942. He died of wounds received as his plane was downed from a mission over Reichersburg, Germany. An artist of ability, he had 2 paintings exhibited at GI Art Exhibit in Florida.
