                            Quentin S. Pavlock was born on 25 October 1919 in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Stephen E. and Anna D. Pavlock.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army on 15 November 1941, at New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Quentin served as a 1st Lieutenant in the 434th Fighter Squadron, 479th Fighter Group, United States Army Air Forces during World War II. He was stationed in England during the war and flew bomber escort and strafing missions in the European Theater of operations. He was Killed in Action on 2 October 1944, at the age of 24 in England. 1Lt Pavlock is now buried in the Gettysburg National Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania, USA.
