                            Arthur La Tour was born in 1915 in Clinton County, New York. He attended Mount Assumption Insititute and worked for the Plattsburgh Ice Company. He enlisted on March 13, 1942, and was sent to Camp Polk, Louisiana, and Fort Benning, Georgia. He was sent overseas in April 1944.
Pvt La Tour was assigned as Rifleman (Military Occupation Specialty 745) in Company A, 38th Armored Infantry Battalion, 7th Armored Division during World War II. He was Killed in Action on November 7, 1944, probably near Horik and Ospel, Netherlands. He is now buried in the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
