Frank served in the 41st Armored Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Division, as a Technical Sergeant during World War II. He died on September 18, 1944, in Limburg, Netherlands, and is now buried in the Saint Mary's Cemetery, Clark, Union County, New Jersey, USA. He was one of the 65 soldiers killed in battle during the liberation of the Limburg region of the Netherlands and Belgium.
