Bruno A. Koditek was born on May 9, 1909, in New York. He was the son of Anton F Koditek and Emma Bertha Siegert Koditek.

Bruno served in the 41st Armored Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Division, as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 19, 1944, in Germany. He is now buried in the Saint Mary's Cemetery, Kingston, Ulster County, New York, USA. Pvt Koditek was one of the 65 soldiers killed in battle during the liberation of the Limburg region of the Netherlands and Belgium.
