Thomas W. Casper was born on October 31, 1905, in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was the son of Thomas Casper and Josephine Feckar Casper. He served in the 633rd Quartermaster Laundry Company during World War II. T/5 Casper was killed on December 1, 1944, in the bombardment on the coal mine terrain Julia, during the liberation of Kerkrade-Eygelshoven, The Netherlands. He was killed together with 16 soldiers and one civilian. He is now buried in the Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.
