David E. Williams, Jr., aged 20, was born on January 24, 1924, son of David and Beatrice Williams of New Jersey.

David served in the 749th Bomber Squadron, 457th Bomber Group, as a Flight Officer and Bombardier/Gunner on the B-17G #43-38812 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on December 23, 1944, when his airplane crashed at Great Rollright in England. They were on a flight from RAF Portreath in Cornwall to their home base at RAF Glatton, near Peterborough, when their aircraft hit trees and crashed 800 yards from Great Rollright village hall.

F/O Williams is now buried in the Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA.
