Sgt Tremblay was Killed in Action on March 29, 1944, in the explosion when bombs exploded after two B-24's collided during form up after take-off from RAF Halesworth, England. Sixteen airmen were killed aboard the two Liberators and nineteen USAAF personnel and civilian personnel died during rescue and firefighting.
