Billy Scully was born on February 4, 1924 in Galballly (County Limerick), Ireland.
Private First Class William “Billy Scully served with the 31st Infantry Regiment “The Polar Bears”, 7th Infantry Division in Korea. He was killed by a sniper on January 14, 1951. He was from Galbally, County Limerick. He lived in Manhasset, Long Island, NY for a year when he joined the Army. He was in Korea just a few weeks when he was killed by a sniper.
