Anthony Lamb was a 19-year-old seaman from Connecticut who served aboard the merchant ship Grand Turk. During the War of 1812, he was captured and held as a prisoner of war at Dartmoor Prison in Princetown, England. Lamb died on November 22, 1814, with peripneumonia recorded as his cause of death. He was buried at the American Prisoner of War Cemetery in Dartmoor Forest, Devon, England.
