March 17, 1922, in Sacramento County, California. He was the son of John and Louise (nee Haas) Stacker; husband of Eleanor (nee Cosby) Stacker. He resided in Loomis, Placer County, California, and graduated from Placer Union High School where he was a member of the football squad. He enlisted in the US Army Air Corps on June 5, 1942, at Blythe Army Air Base, California. Lt. Stacker piloted a P38 fighter plane, receiving his commission in May 1943. He had been in England for only three months when he was Killed in Action by an enemy fighter near Klein-Minnelag, Germany, on his 4th mission. Aboard the P-38H 42-670059, he was seen to bail out of his stricken aircraft and his parachute opening.

2Lt Stacker is now buried in the Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupré, Belgium.
