Raymond Bisson was born on February 25, 1923, in New Market, New Hampshire. He was the son of Agnes Bisson, who resided in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Raymond resided in Strafford County, New Hampshire, prior to the war. He served as a Technician Fifth Grade, 2671st Special Reconnaissance Battalion, U.S. Army during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 28, 1944, and is now buried in the Rhone American Cemetery and Memorial, France.
