Danforth Earl Buck was born on April 29, 1891, in Chelsea, Massachusetts. He was the son of Abbott Elmino Buck and Minnie C. Ghen Buck.
Danforth died of disease on October 5, 1918. He was one of the 171 American servicemen who trained at the Third Aviation Instruction Center in France and died between 1917-1919. He is now buried in the Spring Brook Cemetery, Mansfield, Bristol County, Massachusetts, USA.
