Kimsey L. Stewart was born on October 26, 1895, in Pickens County, Georgia. After receiving about six months of training in the Aviation service, he embarked overseas in November 1917. 1Lt Stewart was killed in an airplane accident in France on September 16, 1918, and is now buried in the Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery, Jasper, Pickens County, Georgia, USA.
