Arthur Louis Zollman was born on October 17, 1893, in Harrison County, Indiana. He was the son of John Philip Zollman and Julia S Horn Zollman.

Arthur served in Company K, 154th Infantry Regiment, as a Private during World War I. He died of pneumonia and measles in France on September 17, 1918, at Base Hospital no. 32 and is now buried in the Saint John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lanesville, Harrison County, Indiana, USA. Pvt Zollman was one of the 171 American servicemen who trained at the Third Aviation Instruction Center in France and died between 1917-1919.
