Charles Anthony Kelly, Jr., of Hamilton County, Ohio, was born on December 9, 1917. He was the son of Charles A Kelly and Letha Marie Kelly.

Charles Anthony, Jr. enlisted in the Army on November 24, 1942, and at the time of his death, was serving in Company B, 704th Tank Destroyer Battalion, as a First Lieutenant. He was killed in Pont-Scorff, France, on August 7, 1944, and is now buried in the Saint Mary's Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Kenton County, Kentucky, USA.
