Paul Peter Duffy, of Essex County, New Jersey, was born on May 26, 1916. He enlisted in the Army on November 10, 1940, and at the time of his death, was serving in the 8th Tank Battalion, 4th Armored Division, as a Technician 5th Grade. He was killed in Pont-Scorff, France, on August 8, 1944, and is now buried in the Brittany American Cemetery, Montjoie Saint Martin, France. He has a cenotaph located in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in New Jersey.
