                            Daniel Alphonse Bolduc was born on February 3, 1946, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. He was the husband of Linda N. Bolduc of Geneva Alabama and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger P. Bolduc of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada.
In Vietnam, he was assigned to and served with Company D, 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry, 196th LIB, USAR.
On July 29, during a patrol in the Hiep Duc Valley of Quang Nam Province, near Hill 87 and the Song Ly Ly (River), an enemy mine was detonated wounding five troopers. Cpl Bolduc was one of the casualties; he died before he could be treated for the multiple fragmentation wounds he sustained.
