Andrew John Jobey was born on May 15, 1949. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Jobey of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.

Andrew enlisted with the American Army on January 2, 1967. Pfc. Jobey started his tour of Vietnam on February 15, 1968. He was killed in action by small arms fire on April 29, 1968, while serving as a Light Weapons Infantryman with the HHC of the 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division.
