Oliver Albert Price was born on June 27, 1919, in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA. He was the son of Hugh Donald Price and Florence E L Mason Price. He was the husband of Geraldine Gleason Price.

Oliver served in the 597th Bomber Squadron, 397th Bomb Group, as a Second Lieutenant and Co-Pilot on the B-55-MA "Post War Plans" #42-96127 during World War II.

On June 24, 1944, his crew took off from Station 168 airfield in Rivenhall, England, with an assigned target of Maisons-La-Fitte Bridge, France. Hit by flak at about 1930hrs, their airplane went straight down the Avenue La Fountaine in Maisons-Lafitte. All members were killed in this incident.
