Stanley H. Chidester was born in 1919 in Ohio. He served in the 12th Replacement Control Depot as a Technical Sergeant during World War II. At the time of his death, he was on detached duty with the RAF Squadron 576 (Elsham Wolds) of the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was killed on March 25, 1944, in Germany, while serving as an Air Bomber in a Lancaster III aircraft during a night mission to Berlin. He is now buried in the Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg.
