Eugene Edward Chouiniere was born on April 11, 1923, in Waterford, Saratoga County, New York. He was the son of Alfred and Rosana Chouiniere.
Eugene served in the 207 Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Pilot Officer during World War II. On November 25, 1942, his crew aboard Lancaster R5695 took off at 15h04 from RAF Langar, England. Their aircraft failed to return from an operational flight between Barnstone, Nottinghamshire, and Haselunne, Germany. They were lost without a trace.
