Sydney Stephen Lang was the son of Stephen J. Lang and Elizabeth M. Lang, of Cicero, Illinois. He served in the #17 Operational Training Unit of the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Flight Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on January 15, 1942, when his Blenheim aircraft # L 1303 crashed at Enhills Farm, Huntindonshire, England.
