John Andzelik was born on December 5, 1907, in North Side, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Andzelik.
He served in Company A, 305th Infantry Regiment, 77th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class during World War II. He was killed in action on August 2, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
