When Andrew Cleon Klenk was born on July 15, 1912, in Salt Lake City, Utah, his father, Charles, was 30 and his mother, Ethel, was 31. He married Lillian Jessie Macmillan on August 2, 1934. They had three children during their marriage. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Master Sergeant in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on April 13, 1945 and is now buried in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, USA.
