Thomas Everett Bell was born on February 13, 1924, in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. He was the son of Tom Wayne Bell Jr. and Ceceile Dobbs Bell.
He served in Headquarters and Service Battery, 2nd Battalion, 22nd Marine Regiment, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade, as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 12, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
