Harold Frederic Brown Jr. was born on August 2, 1925, in Cook County, Illinois. He was the son of Harold Frederic Brown Sr. and Mildred Lowry Brown.
He served in Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 26, 19144, during the Battle for Guam.
