Rollo Bernard Cheyne was born on October 13, 1922, in Klamath Falls, Klamath County, Oregon. He was the son of Robert D. Cheyne and Frances Mae "Fannie" White Cheyne.
He served in Company G, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 30, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
