Daniel Lamar Christensen was born on April 19, 1925, in Bear River City, Box Elder County, Utah. He was the son of Daniel Christensen and Jeanetta Ada Rose Christensen.
He served in Company I, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Corporal during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 24, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
