John Junior Dash was born in 1926. He was the son of John W. Dash and Gertie E. Kays Dash.
He served in Company A, 1st Battalion, 22nd Marine Regiment, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 24, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
