Deane Duvall was born on May 11, 1924, in Riverside County, California. He was the son of LaRoy Rowland "Roy" Duvall and Helen Truex Larson Duvall.
He served in Company B, 1st Battalion, 22nd Marine Regiment, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade as a
Corporal during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 21, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
