Thomas James Edgell was born on April 21, 1921. He was the son of Fred B. Edgell and Lizzie Edgell. He served in Company A, 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 21, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
