James Little “Baby Pete” Epperson Jr. was born on September 29, 1921, in Texas. He was the son of James Little Epperson and Ethel McFaddin Epperson.
He served in Company E, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 22, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
