Darrell Clayton Felix was born on October 24, 1924, in Wisconsin. He was the son of Mark LaRoy "LaRoy" Felix and Cora M. Patten Felix.
He served in Company K, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 21, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
