William Earl Geyer was born on February 8, 1921. He was the son of Albert Otto Geyer and Della Leona Davis Geyer.
He served in the Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Corporal during World War II. He died from his wounds received in battle on July 21, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
