Paul Hamilton was born on March 12, 1922, in Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida. He was the son of James Orla Hamilton and Josephine Morgan Hamilton.
He served in Company B, 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Corporal during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 5, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
