Kenneth Wayne Hawk was born on August 14, 1923, in Kansas. He was the son of John Lawrence Hawk and Fern Adell Crane Hawk.
He served in the 3rd Joint Assaults Signal Company, Headquarters Battalion, 3rd Marine Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 6, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
