Elisha Eugene Hedrick was born on October 25, 1922, in Papillion, Sarpy County, Nebraska. He was the son of Elisha B. Hedrick and Effie Ann Reynolds Hedrick.
He served in Company I, 3rd Battalion, 21st Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 26, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
