Harry Stephen Kujawa was born on August 19, 1924, in South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. He was the son of Steve Stanley Kujawa and Mary Ewald Kujawa.
He served in Company G, 2nd Battalion, 21st Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He died from his wounds received in battle on July 22, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
