Henry Victor Lajewski was born on October 18, 1920, in Dunkirk, Chautauqua County, New York. He was the son of Jozef(Joseph) Lajewski and Jadwiga(Hedwig) Lajewski.
He served in Company G, 2nd Battalion, 21st Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Corporal during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 25, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
