Harold Verne Largent was born on May 28, 1926, in Paxton, Keith County, Nebraska. He was the son of Asa Largent and Helen Gerdes Largent.
He served in Company A, 1st Battalion, 22nd Marine Regiment, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 23, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
