When Samuel Regalbuto was born on July 30, 1912, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, his father, Salvatore, was 31 and his mother, Maria, was 19. He married Mamie Romano in 1929 in his hometown. They had three children during their marriage. He enlisted in the Army on April 12, 1944. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on March 17, 1945 and is now buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, USA.
