Cecil Leonard Lee was born on December 5, 1921. He was the son of Augustus S. "Gus" Lee and Vera Berl Thomas Lee.
He served in Company K, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 27, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
