Raymond Francis Link was born on September 10, 1923, in Chase, Rice County, Kansas. He was the son of Louis C. Link and Bertha M. Gregory Link.
He served in the United States Naval Reserve as a Seaman Second Class during World War II. He died on July 21, 1944, during the Battle for Guam. He was declared as Missing in Action on July 21, 1944, during the Battle for Guam. He has a cenotaph at Saint Marys Cemetery and he also has a memorial marker at Arlington National Cemetery.
