Harold Herbert Meyer was born on August 7, 1920, in Ephrata, Grant County, Washington. He was the son of Thomas O. Meyer and Pauline C. Meyer.
He served in the Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 21st Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Corporal during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 26, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
