Anthony Joseph Micco was born on February 17, 1921, in New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Giuseppe "Joseph" Micco and Concetta "Nellie" Conti Micco.
He served in Company F, 2nd Battalion, 21st Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 22, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
