Harold Donald Miley was born on January 24, 1920, in Hoxie, Sheridan County, Kansas. He was the son of Rollie Cassidy Miley and Alice Mabel White Miley.
He served in Company F, 2nd Battalion, 21st Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as a Corporal during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 22, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
