James Philip Molinaro was born on December 16, 1921, in Connecticut. He was the son of Samuel Molinaro and Mary Granata Molinaro.
He served in Company A, 1st Battalion, 22nd Marine Regiment, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade as a Corporal during World War II. He died from his wounds received in battle on July 3, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
