Roy Fred Moser was born on July 21, 1923, in Kremmling, Grand County, Colorado. He was the son of Royal Godfrey "Roy" Moser and Louise V. Palmer Moser.
He served in Company C, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 26, 1944, during the Battle for Guam.
