Lawrence M. House was born on May 17, 1919. He was the son of Morton Pollard House and Lois Lawrence House. He was married to Sally Robinson House.
He was assigned to the 710th Bomber Squadron, 447th Bomber Group, Heavy, as a tail gunner of B-17 42-31431 (aka Solid Sender) during World War II. Shot down by flak and crashed while enroute to the target in Regensburg on February 25, 1944. He was taken as a POW in Barth, Germany.
